Day Seven: 100 Days of Words Challenge

Day Seven of #the100dayproject and I’m unreasonably sad. I say unreasonably as there is no reason I can find to explain how I feel, other than perhaps my hormones. So, as I always do, I ran back to an old favourite character from my past and let some of the sorrow flow out onto the page. It actually helped quite a bit and I’m able to contemplate the rest of the day with a clearer head. We write what’s in our hearts after all. Today mine feels heavy and filled with an uncharacteristic guilt that I can’t quite place. It’ll pass, I know. Until it does, I’ll keep on writing.
